Featuring Arogya's partner - Child In Need Institute (CINI)

Child In Need Institute (CINI) is Arogya World’s partner NGO that works with underprivileged communities to ensure that children and adolescents receive their rights to health, education, nutrition, protection, and participation. The journey of Arogya World’s collaboration with CINI in the Healthy School Program (HSP) evolved through strategic shifts and expansions, since 2019. Initially, the program focused on two districts in West Bengal targeting 30,000 students in 300 schools. The program emphasized diabetes awareness and behavior change. In 2021, it expanded to include one more district and today the program has evolved into a hybrid model, implemented across five districts in the state, combining school-based, community-based, and digital sessions, and impacting 214,403 kids. We are grateful to Rural India Supporting Trust for supporting this program over multiple years and helping us forge strong partnerships with great organizations like CINI.
