![]() Palo Alto’s leaders from the corporate, medical and philanthropic communities came together to learn about Arogya World’s mission and impact at the Arogya World Gala – An Evening of Culinary Delight at Rosewood Sand Hill On Saturday May 30, at Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, we hosted our elegant Bay Area gala, An Evening of Culinary Delight. Here’s how the evening looked like. While the morning symposium made the prevention argument in data, the evening gala made it in curated healthy food with flavour. Our gala set out to let our guests experience healthy food that is both tasty and elegant. Three award-winning chefs, Chef Srijith Girija Gopinath, Chef Pujan Sarkar, and Chef Asha Gomez, brought the principle to life in dish after dish centered on a four course diabetes friendly meal. A live western classical musical performance by oboist Laura Griffiths and cellist Krisanthy Desby lent the evening elegance, and a soulful Indian classical finish by Gautam Kale gave it heart. The inimitable Sree Sreenivasan was a spirited emcee whose is also documenting his own journey of combatting pre-diabetes here.
Our deepest thanks to everyone who joined us, gave generously, and made our Bay Area gathering feel like the beginning of a new chapter. To mark the occasion, Shastha Foods will give 3% of your overall bill to Arogya World, every time you order from them online. Remember to choose Arogya World when you checkout your cart. |

At the center of it all we talked about what Arogya World did over 15 years to reach over 30 million people across India through programs that meet people where they live, learn, and work. We raised significant funds to help hundreds of thousands of kids get educated on healthy living and prevent a future of diabetes.
